Best Start Babies. This mother's group is a free service of the Galveston County Family Service Center. This group is for mothers and their babies from newborn to age two. It is a place to share with other moms the joys, challenges, frustrations and triumphs of being "mommy". The group meets weekly and topics range from stress management, self-care, postpartum depression and many other timely topics.
And if you are a mommy who likes to tote her baby or toddler with her, check out these great new slings. Carrying your baby in a baby sling is a great way to keep your child with you, close to you for his/her comfort and leaves your hands free to do things you need and want to do. I bet if you wear this to the next mommy meeting, many other moms will want a sling too!
