Outer Banks North Carolina

I've never been to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

This is the area that includes Corolla, Duck, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head & Southern Shores. Of course a vacation here includes all the beach loving activities like fishing, kiteboarding and surfing. There are many other activities to enjoy as well. Some of the favorites are birdwatching, lighthouses and museums. Of course you can see where the Wright Brothers conducted tests that led to the first powered airplane flight. Don't miss the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum to learn about the Outer Banks maritime history and the 3000 shipwrecks in the area. Also of interest is the Lost Colony drama, a "symphonic drama told on the site where 116 men, women and children disappeared more than 420 years ago. "

That I'd like to see.

North Carolina Property

I've never been to North Carolina to buy property.

But when I heard about North Carolina land for sale I wanted to check it out. It looks so beautiful! I know that my daughter would want to get the H. Wright Horse farm. The NC mountain view and riverfront tracts look lovely too. Or how about the 56 acre farmhouse plot? Hey, if we are going to dream, dream big!

That I'd like to see.

Wilmington, NC

I've never been to Wilmington, NC.

This town is home to the University of North Carolina. I just learned this week that my son may have an interest in trying to get into college there one day. I did not know this. This town is not only home to UNC, but has some interesting sights to see as well. Here you can take a look at the many activities the Cape Fear coast has to offer. You can take in Bewitched: A tribute to Rodgers and Hart with Banu Gibson. Get tickets to Grand Hotel, take horse drawn carriage tour through Oakdale Cemetary, hear the Philidor Percussion Ensemble, and don't miss the Castles, Scoop and Loop Family Fun Day at Wrightsville Beach Park. And this is all in September! If my son gets a load of this, he just may end up wanting to buy some Wilmington NC real estate.

That I'd like to see.
