Chichen Itza

I've never been to Chichen Itza.

It is another site of Mayan ruins on the Yucatan pennisula. This site is a world-famous archeological site. Here you can learn more of the legendary Mayan culture. This people are incredible in their mathematical skills and their stone masonry. They were building precise structures at a time when most of the known world was in the dark ages. Chichen Itza has recently been named one of the new seven wonders of the modern world.

That I'd like to see.

Mayan Ruins

I've never been to the Mayan Ruins.

They are thousands of years old. Apparently the Mayans were of Asian ancestry, crossing over when the Bering Strait was still connected to North America. It has been said that the ruins were original before the time of Christ.

The layout of the ruins is astrologically correct. They predicted the summer solstice on June 21. There is even an opening in the wall for the light to beam through on that day. The Mayans were very accurate with their calendars. They knew the world was round.

The ruins are located atop a cliff which drops down into a beautiful turquoise ocean. These waters are thought to be holy to some and many trek here to bathe in the water.

That I'd like to see.
