I've never been to Avebury.
It is apparantly a tourist-friendly version of Stonehenge. You have the large grassy area. You have the mind boggling circle of stones. You have the never ending question of how the stones got there. You have kids running over the knolls. You have tourists picnicing in the area. You get all the enchantment of Stonehenge, in a hands on environment.
That I'd like to see.
