Wilderness Trek

I've never been to Wilderness Trek.

I just paid for my son to go to this summer outdoor experience. It is more than camp. It is a time for teens to stretch themselves both physically and spiritually. It is a group building and bonding adventure at the same time that it challenges the individual teen.

Groups will participate in rappelling, white water rafting, and mountain climbing while learning more about God and depending on him. I hope and pray that this will be a life changing experience for my son.

Wilderness Program for Teens

I've never been to a wilderness program for teens.

For the last several years, my husband has taken a group of teens from church on a wilderness trip. This type of trip has many advantages for teens. However, there are some teens who really need an experience like this who may not have had the chance for this type of trip.

Now, many wilderness programs are being offered for troubled teens. There are Wilderness Programs Formats and Types offered worldwide. You can find learning and adventure expeditions, spiritaully focused expeditions, residential camps and troubled teen rehab wilderness adventures. These expeditions all have a different focus, helping to reach the teens where they are.
