Twelve Apostles

I've never been to see the Twelve Apostles.

I am not talking Jesus' followers, but rather a natural limestone rock formation in Victoria, Australia. My friend Sire has posted a photo from his visit there and I found it rather intriguing. These formations are located in Port Campbell National Park, on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Many tourists come to see the formation formerly known as the Sow and Piglets. In the 1950s the name was changed, when there were actually only nine "apostles", but the name stuck. Today, there are eight stacks, with expectations of new ones forming.

That I'd like to see.

Adelaide

I've never been to Adelaide.

But my blogger friend Sire lives down under and he is starting a new blog of his home, Scenic Adelaide . It seems that he is wanting to make sure that he finds the beauty of his city and shares it with others. I love the idea and love seeing the photos he has posted so far. They are really nice. If you have always wanted to visit Adelaide but have not been able to, why not stop by and take a virtual trip with Sire?

Australian Holiday

I've never been on an Australian holiday.

There is so much to see and do in Australia. There are the major must see attractions, like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour, the Rocks, and the Central Business District. Take a city bus tour, or a cycling tour, or even a helicopter tour. Go sailing, catch the museums and zoos. Not to miss is the Queen Victoria Building.

Melbourne offers shopping, museums, even a Chinatown. Here you will find Captain Cook's cottage. Stroll through the Royal Gardens. Be sure to take in Federation Square and the Australian Grand Prix.

And then off to Brisbane. Take a city tour to see the beautiful scenery. View the historic homes and locations within the city. South Bank and Town Hall remain popular. Many families love to visit Dreamworld while in town.

Booking hotels for an Australian holiday just got easier. At cheaperthanhotels you can always find great last minute deals for Sydney Hotels , Melbourne Hotels and Brisbane Hotels . Many of these include great free offers, such as a free meal and use of amenities.

Darwin

I've never been to Darwin, Australia.

Located on a low bluff. Overlooking the harbour. In the Northern Territory of Australia. Beaches and saltwater crocodiles, museums, The Darwin Festival, and The Arafura Games every other year.

If I get the chance to go to Darwin, there is a place for me to go to compare hotels before booking my trip. Here I can see the hotels in the area listed. I can compare rates , see what amenities each hotel offers and even make my booking arrangements. I can even check out other customer's ratings of the listed hotels.
