United Kingdom Holiday

I've never been on a United Kingdom holiday.

I always watch the PBS travel shows on Europe. My daughter said last week how very cool it would be to get to go see all those things. I agree. I would love to be able to take a United Kingdom holiday. Traveling all over, taking in the sights, the history, the way of life.

In London one can see the magnificent buildings of Greenwich. Head to the Old Royal Observatory to see the original home of Greenwich Mean Time. Visit Kew Gardens, see chic Notting Hill, the Thames River, Buckingham Palace, London Tower, and don't forget The West End.

Edinburgh is home to both the historic, medieval Old Town and the neo-classical Georgian Town. Walk the Royal Mile in the footsteps of Queen Mary and Robert Louis Stevenson. Edinburgh Castle is a dominant feature, and don't miss seeing the crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny. Modern, not-to-be-missed activities include museums, art galleries and festivals, the Whiskey Experience and ghost tours.

Glasgow boasts an energy all its own. It is filled with year round activities and festivals. There are plenty of museums, art galleries, performing arts and festivals. Each year brings the International Jazz Festival and the Celtic Connections winter Celtic celebration.

It looks like I need to start making arrangements for London Hotels , Edinburgh Hotels , and Glasgow Hotels .

That I'd like to see.
