I've never been to Wilderness Trek.
It is a trip that my husband has been on many times. The trek takes a group of teenagers and leads them on a grueling hike up a mountain. They have 2-3 days to complete the trek. They learn about teamwork and trust. They grow closer together, stronger inside themselves and most importantly, spiritually. My son was able to go to trek two years ago, even with a broken collar bone. He did not need a special shoulder stabilizer but just kept his arm in a sling. He carried a lighter pack than others, which was another lesson in itself, both for him and his trek-makes. Trek is a good learning experience and character builder for teens.
That I'd like to see.
