Fanthorp Inn

I've never been to Fanthorp Inn .

It is located in Anderson, Texas and has become a National Park Historic Site. It is a home built in the 1850's and was used as a traveler's and stagecoach stop. The house is now open for tours and you can even take a ride on the stagecoach. You can listen to cowboy poetry and the music of dulcimers. This historic inn will give you a real glimpse into the life on the Texas frontier.

That I'd like to see.

Here's the historical marker info for the Fanthorp Inn.

It's well worth seeing! Very well preserved and an interesting taste of Texas history.
