Assateague Island

I've never been to Assateague Island.

I saw a short clip about this barrier island on television last week. It is unique to have the ocean on one side and a bay on the other. This island is 37 miles long and runs between the Maryland/Virginia border. The name is taken from Native American and means "A Running Stream Between". Of course, the island is most famous for its wild horses which are allowed to roam free.

That I'd like to see.
