European Christmas

I've never been to Europe for Christmas.

We just finished watching Rick Steves' European Christmas special. This hour long program takes you around Europe to sample the holiday and Christmas traditions found in each country. You can see the Eiffel Tower lit up while folks ice skate below, or the lights of two thousand trees lining the street. You can hear the choirs in Britain, see the unique presepios of Italy, and the Christmas market at Nuremburg. You can view the St. Lucia celebration of Norway, and the traditions of the Swiss Alps. This program gives you a small sampling of the many rituals practiced each year at this time.

That I'd like to see.
