PayU2Blog

I've never been paid by PayU2Blog, until yesterday.

I just recently joined this Blog Advertising company. It is so simple. You sign up with them, get accepted, then begin receiving paid blogging assignments. Each post must be accepted (there was one with questionable content that they did allow me to opt out of), contain 60 words, and viola!, you are a paid blogger. Yesterday, they made the first deposit into my PayPal account.

Lighting Showplace

I've never been to the Lighting Showplace.

Here is a great place to find a new table lamp to add a little light and maybe a little whimsy to a room. A new lamp is a cheap way to brighten and enhance a room. It adds a little touch of class or fancy to the room. You can even sign up for instant savings, newsletters and sale alerts.

Ristorante Umberto

I've never been to Ristorante Umberto.

This family owned pizzaria located in Naples is skilled in the art of pizza making. The official pizza of Naples does not resemble the pizza most Americans are used to eating regularly. The crust is super thin, with a scant few toppings. Of the most popular of these are tomoatoes, basil and cheese-the best having been found to be the mozzarella cheese made of the milk of the water buffalo.

Staten Island

I’ve never been to Staten Island.

This borough in New York is just off the mainland. It is filled with exciting events and venues of interest. This summer the president of the borough has been offering an incentive to all visitors of seven or more cultural attractions. These visitors will receive a free t shirt and DVD. Local attractions included in this promotion include the zoo, museums, historical sites, cultural centers, and botanical gardens. Last month the Back to the Beach Celebration was attended by thousands of locals and was so well received another was scheduled for last weekend. These celebrations include bands, games, rides and fireworks. The borough president is even pushing for a wind farm to include seven turbine windmills.

If you have never been to Staten Island either, remember the saying that “getting there is half the fun.” You can make arrangements to see this lively island borough on line by checking out the DialAFlight site. Here you will find offers on flights to New York and holidays to New York. This site allows you to find all the travel information you need to book your New York holiday. You can find cheap flights saving on JFK flights, Newark flights and LaGuardia flights.

San Diego.

I've never been to San Diego.

There is much to do and see here. Of course there is the famous San Diego Zoo. And the Charger's are about to kick off their season. Sept. 17 is the San Diego Music Awards which honors the local music scene while raising money for elementary music programs. There are museums, historic district, day trips to pick apples in the mountains, wildflowers in the desert and wine tasting at local wineries. Of course you've got to hit the beach for swimming, surfing, sunning, kayaking and just to be seen.

Tierra Del Fuego

I've never been to Tierra Del Fuego.

This archipelago is separated from the mainland of South America by the Strait of Magellan. It's name is Spanish for "Land of Fire". The archipelago is made up of 30% forest, cool semi-desert and steppe. The forests are unique because they grow in an area with such cold summers. There are six species of trees here, three kinds of beech and an evergreen. There are even some very delicious fruits like the beach strawberry. Notable animals include foxes, owls, condors, hummingbirds, kingfishers, parakeets, and seagulls. The American Beaver was introduced in the 1940's and has caused damage to the forest. The economy is boosted by oil, natural gas, sheep farming, ecotourism and a brewing company.

Scenario Paintball

I've never been to play paintball .

It seems as if it must be paintball season again! My son’s youth group was challenged by another local youth group at a session of paintball. This is a game of fun, challenge and stealth. And for an added twist to this game of virtual warfare, there is now what is known as scenario paintball. I had not heard of this new style of play before, but it sounds pretty cool.

Scenario paintball is based on predetermined scenarios. These staged games can last from six to twenty six hours. There can be scores of people involved. They can ultimately be a paintball version of famous battles, like the Battle of the Bulge. Some scenario paintball is based on more modern scenarios, like storming a building and saving hostages.

Whatever type of paintball warfare you engage in, it always helps to choose your weapons wisely. With Ultimate Paintball, you can choose the best in paintball weaponry. Choose from top selling guns like Tippmann A-5, Tippmann 98 Custom, Smart Parts Ion, and Spyder Pilot ACS. You will find the best prices with free shipping.

Mr. Bean's Holiday

I've never been to see Mr. Bean's Holiday.

I've not even watched his PBS program. And now, he's made it to the big screen. I am hearing talk about Mr. Bean and his journey across France. He is silly, in an almost silent-movie-era kind of way. He doesn't need vulgar or crude language or humor, nor does he rely on sex to sell a movie. Apparently this movie takes us back to another much simpler era. I heard him compared to the Three Stooges and Charlie Chaplin.

Artificial Rocks Factory

I've never been to an artificial rocks factory.

Many people are using artificial rocks in their landscaping. They are great for homes without the capacity for heavy equipment to move them. These artificial rocks for landscaping are so great because they not only look real, they are more durable and lasting. Many times these artificial boulders are used for coverings because they are hollow.

Most fake rocks are made of fiberglass or polyurethane and don't last through the elements, and they look...fake. The rocks at Artificial Rocks Factory are made of construction grade cast stone, molded from actual 800-1000 pound boulders. This gives them the look and feel of being real. These artificial boulders weigh around 50 to 60 pounds each.

There are 20 different models of boulders from which to choose. Each one is hollow, and approximately one-inch thick, with an opening at the bottom. You can choose from three colors and have them shipped directly to your front door by Fed Ex within two weeks time. These rocks cost $149 with a shipping fee of $50. You can visit the website to get a 360 degree view of any of the artificial rocks models.

The Buddha Tooth Temple

I've never been to the Buddha Tooth Temple .

My blogging buddy FF&F recently visited this temple/museum while on his recent trip to Singapore. He told about this temple on his blog and I told him I would write about it here.

This temple/museum is said to display a tooth relic. Each day visitors can view this relic and the accompanying ceremony by the monks. The temple is located at the edge of Chinatown. There is an exhibition hall, a tea house serving tea and vegetarian snacks, and on the roof orchid blooms named after the Buddha Tooth.

Architect Phillip Johnson's weekend house, the Glass House is located in New Canaan, CT. Though people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, it seems as if Johnson is the only person to have slept here. It is a small, unique home built entirely of glass and steel. The bathroom however is a windowless bricked in column.

The house truly is not so exposing as it may seem. It is situated on a wooded 47 acre estate, shielded by a stone wall, beneath a canopy of oaks and maples, looking down onto a pond and meadow.

Icebergs

I've never been to see an iceberg.

New research has shown that icebergs are hot-hot spots for marine life. Melting icebergs slowly release traces of dirt that were picked up when it was still a glacier. This release helps phytoplankton grow which in turn feed krill, fish and seabirds. Scientists are finding increased concentrations of marine life up to two miles away from the two icebergs they've studied.

The Fullerton Hotel

I've never been to The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore.

It is a former British post office which has been converted into a lovely hotel. Here bathers can swim along side the hotel and enjoy the view of the prosperous island nation. This island nation has always prided itself on hard work, but is now trying to present itself as not only all work, but beginning to enjoy the play too.

According to an article in the most recent Smithsonian magazine, this tiny island nation is trying to shake its uptight image. It is beginning to focus on culture, the arts and fun. Because Singapore is at the crossroads of trade routes, it has an ideal location. Since its independence in 1965, Singapore has undergone a transformation. For example, the Boat Quay used to be a dangerous place after dark, but now has become a hot spot for night life. Extended bar hours, the Fashion Festival, and not-to-be-missed Vivo City are all coming together to help Singapore shed its all work and no play image.

DO FOLLOW is good because it allows link love to be spread through the internet, making it good for your blog and mine. And we know that link love helps raise page rank. DO FOLLOW allows comments to be followed on Google-comment links now "count". This gives your readers incentive to comment by showing commenters you appreciate them.

Vienna

I've never been to Vienna.

Vienna is a charming old city, filled with music from composers like Beethoven, Strauss, Brahms, Schubert, Haydn and Mozart-who all lived and composed here. There are the Opera House and the Philharmonic in which to hear more performances than any other city in the world. There are the Vienna Boy's Choir, the Lippizaner Stallions at the Spanish Riding School, and the Ringstrasse.

And you can easily and quickly get to Germany via Austria. Airlines are offering special packages and prices to help save time and money on great German/Austrian holidays. You can even check the "happy hour" page to bid for flights.

Finding Hotels in Vienna and Hotels in Berlin is easier than ever. Being able to compare prices and check availability, even doing so in Deutsch, makes booking those Hotels in Vienna and Hotels in Berlin faster and easier, leaving more time for sight seeing.

I've never been on a Spanish holiday.

I would love to tour through Spain, including cities like Barcelona and Madrid. There is much to see and do, revisit the history, shopping, museums, the opera house, cathedrals and more.

Compared to the train trip-which could take between 5 and 9 hours, the flying time is a little over an hour, leaving more time to see the sights.

And now, finding Hotels in Barcelona is easier than ever. And when it's time to look for Hotels in Madrid it can be done at the same website. And if you prefer to locate your lodging using Spanish, the same website has now made it possible to search and book Hoteles en Madrid and Hoteles en Barcelona using their Spanish page.

Buying Real Estate

I've never been to buy real estate with GMAC before.

We have lived in our home for over seven years now, and every year-especially around tax time-we talk about moving. And now with all the booming that is going on in our area, it is just getting more and more crowded.

When the time does come to sell our home and buy a new one, it will be a struggle. As much as we dislike all the crowding going on, we have come to love and enjoy our home. It will be important to us to find just the right agent who will help us find the right home to fit our needs, and help us to sell our existing home to a family that will love it as much as we have.

Missionary Travel

I've never been to Golden Rule Travel.

As one who has been on church mission trips and well acquainted with several others who travel for mission work, I know how important it is to have an agent who can work to meet the needs of the individual missionary or group mission team.

Finding reasonable rates and itineraries is very difficulty, especially now with all the passport rules coming into effect. Because missionary flights are sometimes difficult to arrange, having knowledegable people help you is a great asset to any mission work.

The Golden Rule Travel site is a great tool in arranging your next mission flight. Here you can find honest, former mission workers available to help you with your next trip. You will find cell phone service available 24/7-a huge asset when in transit. Cabinet Hardware

I've never shopped for cabinet hardware online.

When we had our kitchen remodeled, we wanted everything to be just right, down to the cabinet knobs and drawer pulls. We went together to pick out what we felt would match our new cabinets and our home's style just right.

And now you can do this in the comfort of your own home. This website has a great selection of unique cabinet hardware to match your home's style. You can choose from an assortment of hundreds of great looking knobs and pulls.

Galveston County Courts Building

I've never been to the Galveston County Courts Building.

This is a new facility located at 600 59th street. It looks like a nice building and houses many government facilities. When I report here for jury duty, at least I won't have to go to downtown, so it will be a little easier access. This new building is easy to find (I drove to it last week just to find it) and it looked like there is free parking.

Jury Duty

I've never been to jury duty.

But in a few days, I will make my first appearance. Basically, I am pretty scared. And I know I will be an emotional wreck that day too. It is on the same day that my son goes to public high school for the first time. I looked for ways to "get out of it". I don't qualify for any of the exemptions now that my youngest child is eleven and the other boys I will be keeping I do not have legal custody of. So, I will go to the new Galveston County Court facility to have my first experience as a juror.

Faucets Direct

I've never visited facets direct before.

This online retailer is a great place to begin your bathroom remodeling research. Here you can find many bathroom accessories to meet the need of your home or business restroom. You can find bathroom sinks, cabinets, bathtubs and showers, tankless water heaters, even bidets, saunas and towel warmers.

Farmer's Market in Galveston

I've never been to the Farmer's Market in Galveston.

This outdoor farmer's market just began last November and takes place every second Saturday of the month in Saengerfest Park, located at 23rd and the Strand. The market offers a wide array of fresh produce and homemade treats. There is locally grown organic produce, eggs, Gulf shrimp and a catch of the day. If you get there early you can purchase breakfast burritos, Jamaican meat pies, scones and other breakfast treats. This market is open year round and is free to the public.

Fiddler on the Roof

I had never been to a production of Fiddler on the Roof.

But I got to go this past Sunday to see a great local performance. We knew five of the actors and two of the crew. This was put on at a local community college theater and the actors were all great with really good singing and dancing. I cried in several parts and laughed in many. I really enjoyed the bottle dance and the visit from the "ghost".

In reflecting on some of the topics in the play, I think there is a lot to be said for tradition. But in the same breath, I’d have to say that change can bring good too. It often surprises me when I look back through history and see the people from “long ago” going through the same struggles we go through today. Sure, the settings may be different, but our humanity is the same. Our struggles with society, family, faith, friends and perceived enemies are perhaps more the same throughout the world and time than we often realize. And I really like the idea that each "of us is a fiddler on the roof trying to scratch out a pleasant, simple tune without breaking his neck."

Personal Injury Lawyer

I've never been to a Personal Injury Lawyer.

Accidents can happen at any time, changing the course of our lives. If an accident happens, it is best not to try to fix the situation yourself. It makes more sense to seek the help of a professional, a personal injury lawyer.

The law office of O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath provide a caring, knowledgeable staff and will work to provide you with the best Harlingen Personal Injury Attorney to represent your case. These lawyers cover a large area, the Rio Grande Valley, including the Rio Grande Valley, Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy and Cameron County areas, Rio Grande City, McAllen-Edinburg, Harlingen, San Benito, and Brownsville.

Whether you have been involved in a traffic (car, truck or motorcycle) accident, a boating accident, victim of drunk driving or product liability, O'Hanlan, McCollom & Demerath can help you. They will meet at a time and place that is convenient for you. The initial consultation is free. You will pay based on a contingent fee. That is, you will be charged the lawyer's fee if you win.

Claiming a Blog on Technorati

I've never been to claim a blog on technorati before last week.

But recently I had been reminded by blogging buddies how important it is for me blog. So after nine months of these "new" blogs, I decided it was time to submit them and create a Technorati Profile. Then, they will release the spiders that will spin my blog throughout the world wide web. This will help to draw more traffic to my blog, raise readership and add value to my blog.
