Whittier, Alaska

I've never been to Whittier, AK.

This cruise port wilderness community was not accessible by road until the year 2000. Whittier is the gateway to Anchorage, with its route lying along Turnagain Arm, in the shadow of Chugach Range. It is home to the sweeping tidal changes. There is much wildlife to see in this area. You can see Dall Sheep, mountain goats, beluga whales and bald eagles.

That I'd like to see.
