Goose Island State Park

I've never been to Goose Island State Park.

Even though this park is located on Aransas Bay, near Rockport, there is no swimming allowed here. Activities include camping, tent and cabana, picnicking, fishing, boating, birding and photography. Spring migration bird tours are held from February to April.

Also located in this park is the State Champion Coastal Live Oak. It is thought to be over 1000 years old with a circumference of 35 feet and is 44 feet tall.

That I'd like to see.
